Chocolates Chocolates everywhere...!
Being obsessed with loads of movies to watch n keeping it all like a storage has kept me watching movies everyday.. :) Watching this movie proved tat i have a good collection of movies which everyone wants to watch.. In fact having so many movies have made me select a movie randomly or pick one from a lot n watch!! The DVD which contained this movie was all fresh n i had not watched any movie in it. The word Chocolate in the title made me choose this particular movie and to be frank, i was not disappointed. it rather tempted me to rush to the nearest store n grab some chocolates n eat all the time til the movie ended.. but unfortunately it was a costly temptation, so i feasted with the chocolates on the screen... ;)
Having known about Tim Burton through his first Short film VINCENT at Disney and watching his other movies like corpse bride, The Nightmare before Christmas, i definitely knew it would be a good film which i may like and even Johnny Depp in the title made me confident n started watching the movie
Hurrah! moment the movie starts, all u see is chocolates n chocolates only, and the characters too are perfectly of no match to our charlie the prime character n the musicals take u for a ride till u forget where actually the story stopped before the song, trust me u cant differentiate which is CGI n whats real in the movie
u will definitely not believe that Tim Burton used 192,000 gallons (726799.0656Ltrs) of melted candy for the chocolate river scene...!!! I was shocked when i saw the squirrels in the nut cracker room are real trained ones!! Being a movie based on the book, by Roald Dahl, Tim has kept the characters close to the book, specially charlie, and movies have come before the same book, (Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory). this movie has lots of things to talk about, but its different than watching.This is a beautiful movie for the chocolate lovers.., And for the ones who are allergic to chocolate, feast yourself watching this movie.. :-D

I never knew that this awesome movie was based on Roald Dahl's book (n he's one of my favourite authors... lol...)!! n neither did I know that all those cute lil squirrels were trained!! Thanks for the info... :) Though I have already watched this beautiful movie twice with ma 4rnds, I feel like watching it again.. thanks to ur review... :) n, I think ur "costly temptation" will become a lil less costly if I giv u ur silk, fruit n nut,etc... rite??!! ;)

@ heart, i dint knw u were a fan of tim burton's movies, i've already watched those movies too, i have to watch it again, will write soon..
