Aayirathil Oruvan [2010]

 

phew! im back from a break again!!! (oops too long to call it a break eh?)

Since some time i was wondering abt the usage of vfx in indian movies too, hurrah! at the same time this movie "Aayirathil Oruvan" got released!! after seeing the vfx shots done by prime focus, i was sure this movie wudn disappoint me, well it did not... was wondering even i had to write it on my blog since hve been writing about or watchin south indian movies a lot these days,realised tat this movie is real worth mentioning!!! apart from the reason tat its being acted by one of my favourite actors, its got a lot  of things worth watching...

The movie takes u back to the rich kingdom of Tamilnadu, taking u to the Chola Empire wit a whole lot of adventure... never lets u guess wat next n gives u an edge of the seat experience, Introduction of the hero is quite different, wit karthick, playing hte role of muthu a leader of labourers at the sea port, according to me, nobody else suits to the role he played in Paruthiveeran, his first movie or this one.. entirely contrasting wit the actresses (the way story is meant to be) cant believe tat its karthiks second movie! even wit facing somany problems n extension of filming, it turned out to be a good movie, adds the classical touch to the movie giving us a detailed visuals of the culture of cholas n pandya kingdoms. filmed at the gods own country - Kerala, n deserts of rajasthan and in the sets of ramoji film city hyderabad, gives a unuque feel and aura to the movie. and serves the purpose of story telling. kinda scary when it comes to the certain sceneries where they are surrounded by cannibals or when they enter the region with snakes. phew! the casting of the roles are in no doubt perfectly fit to match the story. this is the end of the post. It wud be incomplete if u dont watch the movie. chances are u might enjoy or change the perception abt the movies made by different people in different parts of the country,,,,,,,,,
